Transaction security
We use the HiPay solution to secure all our transactions. All payment steps between the buyer and HiPay are fully encrypted and protected. The SSL protocol, combined with electronic banking, ensures that order information and credit card numbers are never transmitted unencrypted over the Internet.
To enhance security:
- We never have access to card numbers.
- Credit card numbers do not appear on any documents (paper, invoices, receipts, or other listings).
- HiPay does not store card numbers after transmitting the transaction to the merchant's bank.
This means that no one has access to buyers' bank details, either electronically or on paper. The risk of card numbers being hacked when making a payment on a site using HiPay is therefore virtually zero.
3DS authentication
Our payment process uses 3DS authentication (Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check, and American Express SafeKey). These services are designed to protect your card from fraudulent use when you make purchases on our site.
⚠️During payment, after entering your credit card information, an additional window will appear.
You will be asked to authenticate yourself:
-via a code received by SMS on your phone,
-or via your bank's mobile app,
-or sometimes via a password specific to your card.
Once you have successfully authenticated, the payment will be validated and the transaction can be processed.
It is important not to skip this step, otherwise the order will be automatically canceled and cannot be processed.
If you need more detailed information or if you encounter a problem with the authentication process, please contact your bank. We have no control over the payment authentication process.
