The Adidas Metalbone 3.4 2025 padel racket does not radically change the range's philosophy — intentionally. It pushes the power/control orientation a bit further for competitive players who like to dictate the tempo from the volley and the smash. After several real-condition play sessions, here is my analysis.
✅ Key strengths
Pronounced diamond shape and high sweet spot: Designed for power, the Metalbone 3.4 delivers thudding smashes and heavy shots. The sweet spot is concentrated toward the head, ideal for finishing points.
High-modulus carbon rigid structure: The carbon weave provides great impact stability and efficient energy return, allowing tight, recurring trajectories.
Dense core (firm EVA): Good energy return and excellent ball exit on offensive strikes. The core favors explosive hits and depth on driven shots.
Textured surface for spin: The rough finish facilitates imparting spin without weighing down the swing — useful for viboras, Bandeja and topspin serves.
Reinforced frame and torsional stability: The construction limits deformation on off-center hits and improves accuracy in fast exchanges.
