“ Power and enhanced comfort: the redesigned Vertex 04 to protect your arm.
The Bullpadel Vertex 04 Comfort 2026 Pack stays true to the Vertex family’s philosophy: a focus on power and an offensive playing style. However, this “Comfort” version tweaks the formula to reduce stiffness and improve forgiveness, without sacrificing too much power. After several matches and training sessions, here’s my detailed review.
✅ Strengths
Typical Vertex diamond shape: retains excellent impact power. Smashes and net approaches remain its greatest strength, with excellent ball speed when you commit to the shot.
Comfort core (softer composition): the more flexible core reduces vibrations and offers a more pleasant feel, particularly useful for players with sensitive arms or those seeking more comfort on off-center hits.
Improved maneuverability for a Vertex: the adjustment of weight and balance toward a lower grip makes fender-attack transitions smoother and volleys more accessible than with a classic Vertex.
Textured surface optimized for spin: The rough finish makes it easier to generate spin on bandejas and topspins without requiring extra technical effort.
Convenient complete package: The “Pack” version includes useful accessories to get you playing quickly (bag/ bag and overgrip), convenient for those upgrading all their gear at once.
❌ Things to watch out for
Still primarily focused on power: despite its increased flexibility, this is not a racket for beginners. Highly technical players will get the most out of it, while novices may find the power difficult to control.
Less “soft” feel than purely comfort-oriented models: players looking for maximum cushioning or an ultra-soft racket (especially those with a history of chronic pain) will prefer lines explicitly designed for comfort or more flexible rackets.
Demanding in terms of precision: while forgiveness has improved, very off-center shots still result in poor performance; a minimum level of consistency is required to fully exploit its potential. ”
